STRIFF^® Shear Dowels are designed to allow the expansion or contraction of connection between two concrete elements, effectively reducing or preventing constraints.

The STRIFF^® Shear Dowel system allows for the controlled movement of concrete structures in the transverse and/or longitudinal directions of expansion joints. This movement helps to prevent constraints and mitigate potential damages. Simultaneously, STRIFF^® ensures that the connected structures maintain the same horizontal level, restricting movement in the vertical direction.

The STRIFF^® Shear Dowel system is available in two load models: STRIFF^® 43 and STRIFF^® 51. Both models feature rectangular cross-sections, which significantly reduce stresses at the contact areas. This reduction in stress aids in minimizing crackling noises that may occur during movement.
